Our patented meter technology tracks application and website usage in over 4000 handsets across all major Smartphone operating systems.

In this edition, we highlight the similarities and dissimilarities between two survey mediums – Web and Mobile using the results from a survey deployed across these mediums to a matching set of panelists in the USA. In all, 3000 survey invites were sent to panelists of each medium.

Some key findings:

• Similar Response Rates across both methodologies (between 40% - 50%)
• Higher proportion of SmartPhone users among Mobile panel vs Online Panel
• Similar Responses across both methodologies
• Speed Of Response Much Higher Among The Mobile Panel
